Swapping Caps and Ctrl key in Vista

I found a useful software to swap caps and ctrl key in Vista by changing the registry. For example if you want to change the Caps Lock key as a Control Key.

  1. Download SharpKeys from RandyRants and install it.
  2. Run SharpKeys.
  3. click “Add”
  4. Click Type Key on the left, “map from” and press Caps Lock key
  5. Click Type Key on the right, map to” and press Ctrl Key.
  6. Click “Write to registry” and reboot your system.
