Dropbox in Kubuntu Intrepid KDE 4.1

I have just upgraded my laptop to Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid. And I reinstalled getdropbox by downloading the file from http://www.getdropbox.com for Ubuntu 8.04 .deb package. In Kubuntu, you can right click and open using GDebi package installer. Dropbox installed perfectly fine and now my laptop is in sync with the one in office.

  1. * * NEWBIE-ish * *

Recently installed DROPBOX on kubuntu8.04 x64.
Apperntly installed correctly as “all dendencies are satisfied.”

But, I can’t find the app. in my system.

I can open nautilus, but do not see it there either.

    Suggestions.

do you see a “Dropbox” folder in your home directory?
The program just prepare a sync folder, whatever you put there will be sync to your online storage.
